Lupine suggests the rich color of this plant that blooms in the summer along Highway 61 in Northern Minnesota. Pigments include goldenrod, tara pod, orange cosmo, and indigo. Layers are created by submerging the paper into dye baths and the pigments are absorbed in the the papers' fibers, allowing them to take their own shape and depth. Mounted on a hardwood cradle with an acid-free wheat paste and framed with a poplar floater frame, it's protected with an additional layer of wax and UV varnish. Ready to hang.
